Great, dynamic discussion. Tip 2 is def advanced. After writing songs for some time I now take into acount the dynamics, storytelling etc; silmilar to composing a painting or a movie. One thing I’m taking away and will use when I comment on others’ songs, I will ask, (a)“Are you happy with it? What do you like most?”. (b) If they are not happy I will ask “What is bothering you about the song” and take it from there.
